YouTube video posted with pictures of the Northern Area AGM and a short tour of the Mechanics Institute in Manchester where the meeting was held. A very well attended, worthwhile and productive meeting. Young member Drew introduced an item about "ShowBiz Wrestlers" ... needing professional trade union representation. The meeting recalled days when we used to work on the same variety bills as wrestlers including; Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks. A motion was proposed to the Equity Council that they should consider extending the criteria for membership to this new generation of "ShowBiz style wrestling entertainment performer".
